I plan on loading .40 for my Glock 22. I would like to use Alliant American Select as I read about it being a clean powder. In the loading data on their sight (the pdf file) it seems to only show the max charge. I will use starting loads or maybe even a little less to avoid a potential glock KB

Anyone have data for American Select for the .40? 165 or 180 grain bullets?

I've only used American Select in .45 but it will do fine in .40 at target work velocities and as you heard, is very clean burning. There is some load data to be found but you may have to do a bit of digging...using Alliant's data, just drop down 10 % and go from there. A.S. is a very fluffy, flake powder and (like Unique) doesn't meter exceptionally well. Be sure to thoroughly settle it down in your measure prior to actually beginning to load...good thing is, it provides good case density so over-charges should be more than obvious.

Thanks for the replies, but like I said the Alliant data only shows the max charge for some reason. Like Manley said I will just drop it down some and go from there.
