Now i understand the need to use multiple load data sources, working up .270 loads using Speer and Sahara manuals, they were showing completely different charges, after much head scratching i realized i was on .270 win mag in the Sahara book

Reading is fundamental, and very important when choosing load data. Glad you figured it out. :)

I always check several different load books and Internet sights. I also check my 1980 books for load data. Then after I pick a load it is chronograph time. A chronograph is a must when developing a load for my match rifles. Then it is lot of paper shooting for best groups.

I ran into a OAL issue, grrrrrr why so many different specs for the same load, settled on 3.28, really is a science to this, frustrated but I love my new hobby

Wife laughed at me, I'm using a dip cup and baby spoon to load h4831sc into my scale, found it faster than using my powder measure, i thought it was ingenious myself
