Am I alone in having my CCW permit but no gun?

I took my CCW class/test when I was still 20 so I didnt' have a handgun yet. I just borrowed a friends. But I bought my first handgun before the actual permit arrived.

Nah, I noticied this in my class. There were a few people that were preparing for their CCWs/CHLs/LTCs/whatever it is in your state and didn't own a firearm. It can be a tough decision for some and I think the ranges accomodate by having 'test fire' weapons available that can also be used for CCW qual.
