What's the opinion of the American Classic 1911 by Metro Arms ??? Good, Bad or Ugly ................

i have read several articles where the gun was praised for fit, finish and function. they come "loaded" so you don't need to run out and buy a bunch "trick" parts. they are on GB for $449.00 so go for it!

I have one and its awsome, never a malfunction> I know of people who have put 3000 rounds through one and are still good. They have only been out for a year and a half, so whoever says you shouldnt shoot much probably doesnt have direct experience.

Nice basic M1911 A1. No firing pin interrupter. Out-of-the-box fit and finish as good or better than any of the current entry-level 1911 clones.

I'll be keeping my eyes out for a used one I that I could practice accurizing skills on.

guess you don't own one the are great pistols for the price and will run right with my Colts Has loaded and fired every brand of ammo I tried
