I just wanted to offer a little light here. I've done some traveling and wanted go report ammo is out there. Just hold out.

Was able to find 45 fmj for 17 per box. Much as you want. 380 fmj 14 per box much as you want. 357 jhp 25 per box of fifty! Had about 10 boxes on the shelf. 9mm I've only seen the 20 round premium boxes for 14.

This was in the southern part of my state about 3 hours away.

Point being - some big retailers are out. People are scalping on gunbroker.

Folks, it's a lot of anxiety and temporary demand. It will pass. Check different stores. A farm store and gander is where I found the above.

I only bought a couple boxes, left the rest on the shelf.

Do that too, if you can! We get through this together. Sick of the doom and gloom sky is falling stuff.

Anyone have a report of sightings on shelves at good prices?

This will get shut down. Some of the mods don't want anyone talking about the availability or lack of or pricing of ammo.

To answer your question, my local fishing and gun store (small CA chain) has some on the shelf and at current market price. I've seen much worse prices but it it's not cheap either.

Not much selection so you might not get what you were hoping/need but it's worth the time it to check if someone needed some.

My friend bought a gun for the first time 3 mos. ago. I bought him 2K rds of .380 for $0.38 / rd shipped to my door. He was complaining that it was too much ammo but he eventually paid me back and is pretty happy at this point.

We have a thread in reloading “Where are reloading components available these days”.

No complaining, etc, just posts/links to what is out there.

People could help each other out finding ammo like that as well, but all the noise complaining about price, talking about “hoarding”, etc etc gets old. It is what it is, we can help each other out, or waste time complaining.
