I was in Wal-Mart today...(I appreciate your sympathies) picking up some Christmas wrapping paper with my wife. I got bored very quickly and headed back to the "Sporting Goods"
It was interesting to see though that Wal-Mart was selling out of there J-Lock Remington 700 ADL's chambered in 30-06. Guns were Matte Black with Sights. Price on them was $300!
Seemed like a pretty good deal for a project gun. Sell off the barrel, and stock and you got about $200 in a Remington Action, I would replace the Lawyer Lock, but still you got a nice start for a builder.
I don't know if its just the Wally World in Idaho that are doing this, but thought I would pass a heads up along.
