Another question for CZ 457 MTR shooters.
For those of you who have shot NORMA TAC-22, what is your opinions?
How does it compare to CCI Standard.
I'm thinking about getting some.

It is good stuff, shoots well in several of my rifles. Norma Match is also good stuff, I think it’s a bit more accurate across the board than TAC-22.

Norma Match comes in a white box rather than the TAC-22 black box.

Both Norma loads have a light, waxy lube that leaves my hands greasy feeling and slick when loading the magazines. That’s about the only downside for me.

Stay safe.

TAC 22 is a cheap "match" ammunition, CCI STD Velocity is cheap, but is not match at all.

Gun club bud was shooting in a club match with TAC 22, and pointed out the drop out he experienced shooting sighters.

Bud was disgusted with TAC 22, and went to Eley black box. His groups became rounder and more consistent

Shoot enough cheap "match" 22lr, and you will get flyers and low velocity drop outs.

My CCI Std velocity shot much better than I thought it would. I was blasting it down range, using a bench and a rest.

but I am not going to use the stuff in a match. Do not expect cheap ammunition to group as well as the better stuff. Expect drop outs and flyers. You gets whats you pays for.

I have tried the Norma Tac 22 in my 16" CMMG 1-16 twist AR barrel and my 21" Bore Buddy Apogee 1-12 twist barrel. The Norma did okay in the CMMG barrel but was horrible in the Apogee barrel. The CCI Standard definitely did better in both barrels. I had 1 flyer per 5 shot group with CCI Standard in the Apogee barrel but no flyers in the CMMG barrel. I was not impressed with the Norma ammo so I doubt I try it in my Savage MkII with the heavy varmint barrel.
