20 round count box of Winchester 5.56 that sold for $8.99 is now selling for $11.99. A $3 increase from last week.

Federal AE 223 is still $8.99 for a box of 20.

Independance 5.56 twenty count box is now selling for $9.99. Thats up $1 from last week.

Federal 22lr 40 grain target is selling for $4.49 for a box of 50. First time I've seen this.

Winchester 9mm NATO 124 grain FMJ is selling for $15.99 for a 50 count box. First time I've seen this.

Gee - haven't seen this. Today Academy had 7.62 x 54. I did see the 223.

One day they had a stock of 223 tracer for the forest fire crowd.

One day I went to Wal-Mart and paid 2x as much as I remembered paying for 5.56 ammo the week before. $4.99 to $9.99 for Remington boxes of 20, in one jump. This was in 2004 or 2005. "The wars" was the only explanation I was given. That price has remained constant, I was looking at the same Remington 5.56 boxes of 20 for $9.99 yesterday at my LGS.

A week ago I bought 1k rounds of Blazer .22lr ammo for $42.

Got some of the Winchester white box NATO 9mm this AM. I haven't seem this variety at Academy in awhile, but $16 seems high. Got ammo can of Blazer Brass .45 ACP 230 grain FMJ for $100 for 200 rounds.

Paid $20 per brick of .22 LR, 325 rounds, not sure of brand. Was able to buy 3 boxes because I bought a Marlin 795 as well.

Saw quite a bit of other ammo as well. I wanted some .380 but had maxed out my allowable ammo purchase of three types of ammo.

Little Rock residents could find a good selection of ammo on the west side of town, last week, at "Bullseye". It's only a quarter mile east of Academy.

They even had Wolf 7.62x39 for either $8 or $9 per box.
