So unlike a lot of people I luckily have a great ar that I got at an awesome price a couple years ago and a ton of NORMAL CAPACITY magazines for it and my glock..but being a broke 22 year old college student all of a suden 5.56 ammo is wayy out of my price range other than the couple hundred rounds I have stocked up. I plan on investing into a ruger 10/22 this month but whats everyones opinion on 5.56/.223 pricing and availability? Do I wait it out and hope it drops soon or will it get worse and worse? Thanks everyone. And by the way already an NRA member and me and my room mate are going to be writing letters to our senators.

Ammo prices will blow over (unless you are in connecticut which just did a 50% tax)

I have seen this type of run before during the Assault Weapons ban and High Capacity Magazine ban. Things will calm down.
I also live in Florida and have been to many gun shows. Seen pricing on ammo go thru thr roof!! Just wait it out. :banghead:
