Ammo Snobs?

If people actually understood what is/isn't happening with steel cased ammunition, they would change their mind.

I'm only snobbish about what I feed my working weapons . It will weigh , chrono and recoil as near as I can get to the off the shelf ammunition I HAVE to use . That is practicing with what you use .

In all other cases if it works I'll use it except in rare cases like the SA .308 that regularly flattened primers and destroyed a few shok buffs. Or the cascade in the baggie .45LC that had so little crimp that if it didn't fall out in the bag it jumped in the gun and tied it up . Or the .22 brick I tossed because if it wasn't FTI it was fouling the barrel so bad that it required a brush and swab every 20 rounds . Or the ...

Yeah I'm a snob all right . I only use what makes sense . I only use what works . I cover my azz by not reloading for defensive carry and just use HS or GD in.45 and HS 135gr for 9mm because that's what both the FEG clone and Belgian HP eat without complaint . Yeah , snob . heh

I knew a guy and he wouldn't use steel cased ammo because he thought steel flakes and fragments would come off the case and nick/scratch up the bore...
