The question should be "..from the CIA's network, for the rebels".
Having often read foreign news articles in the Wall Street J., this new US policy made me curious whether the CIA as middleman, or 'whoever', would find surplus small arms ammo in foreign countries.
Maybe the main weapons sent via Turkey etc will be anti-tank rpgs and mortars.
But if small arms ammo are critical, due to the rebels' reportedly typical "lack of fire discipline" and "hoarding", would 7.62x39 be the vast majority of the ammo provided, or the only type of rifle ammo except for Nato 7.62?
Some guys/gals here are recent veterans of "The Sandbox" and/or have an intell. background. Our troops in Jordan are said to be the guys who will train some of the rebels.
