Reading one of the threads about ammo stored in a sometimes hot gurage made me think.
Ammunition that many of us keep for either long term storage either because we either have a lot of it or keeping a surplus for that just in case situation, one thought come to mind.
Food storage vacuum seal packages.
Thought is that if the ammunition that we have stored is in one of those properly vacuum sealed bags will keep the moisture & air away from the ammunition preventing those elements from causing damage to the ammunition & if kept in a relatively moderate temperature area like a basement the ammo would last for decades.
Ofcorse my thought would be to resupply at least every year or two & use the oldest stuff first..
Thoughts on this?
Part of me is thinking of the reloaders & the ones who purchase ammo in bulk mostly.
