Hi, all! Can you help me to identify this cartridge?

It appears to be a US .30 cartridge, as in .30-06.
The bullet has a silvery appearance (mild steel?), and has a red line (possibly sealant) at the base of the bullet, going into the case neck.

I'll try to send a scan of the case head to help with ID.

Mods, please move this if it's not the appropriate forum. Thanks!

PS: The scan worked better than I thought. Dell scanners rock!

TE : Cartridge manufacturer
D : Metal Supplier
1958

Don't know all of the manufacturer and supplier codes. Not sure what the single digit number opposite of the date stamp means.

It is 7.5mm French (7.5x54). The TE is Cartoucherie de Toulouse, Toulouse, France. I don't know who the "D" is. The date of manufacture is January, 1958.
