Anybody else know this place? I thought I had a handle on most of the reputable ammunition and firearms related websites around the country. Well an old friend sent me an electronic gift card to ammunitiondepot.com I asked him where he found the place (he’s only a very occasional shooter), he said his adult son turned him on to it. So I did my due diligence and checked the website on scam-detector.com, came out ok, the place has a physical presence in Kissimmee FL, good contact information, and accepts all major credit cards. And, anyway, worse comes to worse, it’s his money, to be crass, so I ordered.
I usually don’t like paying exorbitant prices for premium SD ammo. So I ordered 100 rds (2x50rd boxes) of Federal 124gr HP HST LE 9mm at $1/round total $99.98. They overcharged my state tax by $1.60 [eh] and I thought the shipping was pretty pricey at $18.90. So I paid $28.87 out of pocket on the $100 order. It was the thought that counts.
My order was processed in about 2 business days. It arrived 5 business days after my order via UPS, properly packaged.
I now have another resource bookmarked. The website is pretty inclusive and seems to have almost everything in stock. I think in the future I’ll make certain to price compare, but I surely got my money’s worth.

They had some fairly hard to find defense ammo in stock at the time.
