Went on a bit of a buying/trading binge lately and I'm now up to an even dozen handguns. Here's the breakout:

3 - Kahr
2 - Beretta
2 - Dan Wesson
2 - Sig
1 - RIA
1 - S&W
1 - Taurus

Calibers: 3 - .22, 3 - 9mm, 3 - .40, 2 - .45, 1 - .380

May be done for a while as I'm broke. Luckily I stocked up on ammo before the prices went up so I can shoot these for a while...

Hmmm...... need to keep an eye out for a .38, a .357, a .44 Spl, a .44 Mag, a .................

Great start. :)

Except for rimfire's, I'm not a huge revolver fan. I do keep my eye open for a good Dan Wesson .357 though as it would be a nice compliment to my pair of .22s...

Which do you shoot most often, and why?

One reason I've avoided a .380 (besides the problem of a student budget generally ;)) is the cost of ammo for it, since 9mm costs generally *less* for a more powerful caliber for which more guns are chambered. There are some very cool .380s that I've lately started to notice, though -- that old Colt pocket gun,
for instance.

What model's the Dan Wesson? :)

One of the Dan Wesson's goes with me on every range trip as .22 is cheap to shoot. I rotate the others to stay proficient with them. The Sig P232 .380 is actually one of my favorites to shoot and it is such a well designed gun. I was shocked by .380 ammo prices myself then I went to Wideners and bought a bunch of CCI aluminum at 7.85 per box. My other favorite is my Kahr E9, it's so accurate and comfortable to shoot being all steel. None are mine are safe queens (don't have a safe actually) and they all get shot at least once a month.

No model numbers on my Dan Wesson's as is par for the course. They are both Monson Mass built guns, probably late 70s early 80s vintage. They're on the .357 frame and use square post grips...

I have an E9, PM40, and P45 from the Kahr family. Just started breaking in the P45 yesterday, put 140 rounds thru it...

Only One Dozen~?

Heck, I curently have thirty-eight firearms on inventory; and thirty-four
are handguns. I don't know the exact break down (numbers); cuz I buy
what I like~ and that is subject too change on a daily basis~! ;)

My long gun list:

1) Colt M-4 AR-15 .223 caliber
2) Tricked out stainless Ruger Mini-14 in .223 caliber
3) Remington 12 gague 870 Marine magnum shotgun
4) Ruger stainless/syntheic 10/22
