The receiver sight pictured is the new New England Custom Gun (NECG) for rimfire rifles.
I bought this to replace a Williams Foolproof Target sight that I had previously installed on my 63 Winchester.
I bought mine from Brownells but you can also order this sight direct from New England Custom Gun.

The Foolproof was very good but somewhat bulky and fragile for use on this hunting rifle.

The NECG sight has solved those issues for me, it is streamlined, nothing is hanging off the sides of the receiver and it is steel and durable.
The sight installs on any .22 dovetail grooves and uses two allen screws to secure it in place.
Elevation is acomplished with a top mount screw and there is more than enough adjustment that no replacement of the front sight should be neccessary on most rifles.
Windage is accomplished by two opposing screws same as an FAL rifle again with more than enough adjustment.

The sight comes with two apetures, 3/8"X.093 and a 3/8"X.125.
Both are threaded 7/8"-40 same as the Williams 5D and Foolproof and most Lyman receiver sights.
I elected to replace these apetures with a Merit #3 adjustable target apeture.
I will also use a Brownells .125 Twilight apeture when hunting in early morning woods.

This sight has exceeded all my expectations, it is well made, has repeatable adjustment, and is small enough to not hang up in brush or be knocked off by an unexpected mishap.

I think anybody who appreciates peep apeture sights should consider one of these sights for his/her .22 rifle

That's exactly what I'm looking for for my 9422. Where did you get the sight from and how much do they go for?
