I've been collecting for some time and have been in imaging business as well. Just recently occurred to me to mix the two. I'm in the process of creating an online gallery of such images. And no, this wasn't done at a hospital and yes, I own the scanner.

Cool. There was a thread on another board where a guy xrayed a bunch of guns and stuff. One of the very interesting images was a shot of a loaded 9mm doublestack magazine- the rounds are stacked very wierdly in those, something you wouldn't expect, and it looks like it wouldn't function very well at all.

barrett m82a1 and a bunch of other stuff....

i'm almost finsihed scanning my guns and am now dipping into friends collectiosn. mostly nfa stuff , but not all. if its an interesting gun, can fit in the scanner, and is amenable to making decent images...then i'll scan it. some guns just look better than others. my personal favorites include the serbu super shorty, hk23e clone beltfed, and the hk53 clone. they are esp. crisp and clean.

apparently some folks over in another sub-forum, gen. or rifle or something thinks i'm pulling his leg and is "calling BS" on me. hah. i only wish i could draw stuff this well on a computer, etc. it'd save me the time and hassle of hauling my hardware up to work to scan afterhrs.

ps: a guy from ar is bringing his damaged ww2 japanese gun down after new years for me to scan. apparently he's been searching for a way to see inside his damaged gun before embarking on restoration or whatnot. that'll make my day to help that dude out!
