An introspective observation.

My taste in women is mirrored by my taste in powders- expensive. Can someone explain why Accurate 5744 is so much more expensive than its brethren?

 

I'm not sure what that runs but my VV N140 is the same way. Love it though.

 

You two should consider dating one of the local gals. Although I have gone out with a woman who was born in Australia, she grew up in Kansas (H4350). When I decided to settle down, I married a girl named Dot. Her and her sisters keep me in line.

In its niche, 5744 is pretty much the only game in town, especially since 4759 was discontinued. They can charge what they think it will sell for I guess.

Well I've been using it a lot in 300blk. I have really good load going for me and I'll just shell out the additional bucks for another 8 pounder. Just curious as to why this one particular powder is so much more expensive.

 

I know it is great with cast bullets in both of my Marlin 30-30's with microgroove barrels.
