Hey guys, Awhile back I traded a buddy my Colt Rail Guns "100 Years of Service" for his 6'' Colt Anaconda. I'm starting to miss the Ole gal and he is interested in either trading back for the anaconda or trading for my .454 Alaskan. I have been reading on some ballistics charts and I was wondering, How does the 2.5 .454 compare to the 6" .44 as far as energy goes. I know you going to lose a pretty good bit on the Alaskan as compared to a 6" .454. I just don't know much about velocity and energy. I guess what Im trying to figure out is, Does the few hundred more pounds of energy make up for the extra recoil of the Alaskan. I hope this makes some sense, lol.
Thanks guys
