For some reason i've been on a revolver kick the last month and have now brought my S&W collection back up to three guns.

It began with a S&W 66-2 4" .357mag sometime in the middle of December. This gun was in like new condition and appeared to have only been fired a few times.

Next was last Friday when I found a excellent condition S&W 629-1 4" .44mag in the same gun shop where I got the 66-2.

Last was today, when I finally went back to the same shop and picked up a S&W 625-3 4" .45ACP Model of 1989. One of the unique items on this gun is that the muzzle has been given a large crown. This gun is just sweet feeling and will become my bedside companion.

Not bad for less than $1,100 combined.

Here are some pics of them.

Steve, those are three beauties you have there. I own the same three, but my 625 is a 5" and my 629 is 6.5"

A nice 4" Mod. 63 would round out your collection.

The whitebalance looks off on your camera, but nice pics!

Don't fool yourself, however... this isn't a "revolver kick"... it's a full-blown addiction. Trust me, I'm also a sufferer. The prognosis is bleak: You will probably keep buying revolvers, especially Smith & Wesson. God help you if you buy a blue gun, it will only worsen.

That's a great deal! Congratulations on your nice collection. You may see later on that revolvers have that addicting charm. I got hooked myself. I started with a model 19. Followed by a model 10, two 25-5s, a 642, etc. etc.

3 beauties!Gotta' love those 4" er's.Now you need a 686-4 in 4" just to round it out.Easy for me to say when it's not my money!
