I have a Kimber CDP Pro that was smithed on a few years ago as part of a reliability package in preparation for carrying it. I set it aside for a revolver, and when I posted it here for sale a member brought to my attention that a polished feedramp on an aluminum framed pistol is not a happy thing! (Certainly doesn't help reliability!)
I'm looking to rectify the situation so I can sell the pistol in good faith. A member here recommended Chuck at Rogers Precision to do a steel ramp replacement. Unfortunately my emails to Mr. Rogers have gone unanswered, it looks like he's doing less smith work.
Can anyone proffer a reputable smith or shop to replace the ramp with a steel insert OR polish and re-adonize the frame?
