Another 243 loader - just starting

Pick any of the 'slicker' bullets in a 85-100 gr weight, your favorite flavor (or what's in stock) of any of the 4350-type powders, H-1000, Varget, 4064's and probably some others, get a good reloading manual or one of the powder manufacturer's or bullet maker's information online and start testing. Each rifle is different. Event two of the exact same make and model made one right after the other, will end up with a different 'favorite' load.
For my Vanguard S2 it's IMR4350 and a 90gr Nosler Accubond. Works quite well out to 600 yards. Somewhere I have a photo of a 4 shot group at 500 that's about 1.75" wide and .5" tall.

also Winchester 760 powder is great with the sierra prohunter 100gr part# 1540 at 37.6gr of 760 powder using cci large rifle magnum primers works great ;)
