It's kind of long, so I won't post it here.

My $.02:

-If Mexican Army units are making incursions into the US, that is an act of war and should be responded to as such.

-If US military and/or law enforcement units are being fired upon from across the border, especially when it's happening multiple times in the same areas, we should respond with bigger guns-25mm, 120mm, or indirect fire (mortars or artillery).

DAMN ILLEGALS

I have been a Republican my whole life. I have always voted the RNC line, and I will again this fall, but there is nothing that makes more upset with the president then hearing about how wide open our borders are!!! He used to be Gov of TX he should know how bad it is. I know our military is a little busy at the moment, but there has got to be something we can do.

I remember when I was a kid I was able to go for a tour of the Bangor Submarine base in WA State. I was able to see all parts of the base. We even drove by the area where they stored the nuclear warheads. From what I remember the nuclear area had two fences. They both had razor wire, after the second fence there were signs stating that all unauthorized individuals would be shot on sight!! I don’t think we should shoot everyone that crosses the border, but if we shot a few of them I bet they rest would think twice about illegally sneaking into our country.

What is the real threat here? Is it the Mexican Army invading the USA or people believing World Net Daily as a credible source?

The World Net Daily is right up there with the National Enquirer!

The issue isn't the Mexican Army posing a threat by its incursions, per se, it's the lack of respect shown for our sovereignty and our borders, with the encouragement of the Mexican government and the averted eyes of our own government.

Don't worry about the credibility of WND, worry about the fact that the NY Times and the Washington Post and the network news won't touch these stories.

We have a militia--it's called Ranch Rescue.

http://www.ranchrescue.com/

They exist because the feds refuse to adequately fund the Border Patrol, and because uniformed, armed Mexican soldiers have made incursions north of the border to escort illegals into the U.S. and have engaged in shoot-outs and low-level firefights with the Border Patrol.

I fail to understand why Bush has not seen these actions for the acts of war and disrespect that they are, and why he continues to cozy up to Vincente Fox. Could it be that he's in bed with big business and the new world order? I've written Bush a letter about it. We'll see what the answer is...

The other failure of the feds is that not only will they not adequately fund the Border Patrol, but they have stymied and stood in the way of Ranch Rescue, a citizen's militia group that is trying to stop the crush of illegal immigrants from Mexico.

If you can, please donate to Ranch Rescue, and check out their news links.

Maybe if La Raza breaks a few of Karl Rove's windows you'll get a reply that doesn't include the words "welcoming" and "compassion" in it. As far as Bush is concerned, looking the other way on border enforcement is "just the right thing to do."

He's playing a very dangerous game, and one that could easily backfire before November.

I have an acquaintance who has been doing some border "work" over the last several months. While he hasn't seen any federales, the rest of those things mentioned are happening.
