Our lease has 8-10 bucks that should be culled. Oklahoma holiday doe season is running. This morning i sat in a blind hoping a doe would make her appearance.
A deer showed off to the left. It soon became obvious the deer had no antlers. Deer passed to my front. Something was wrong because the neck appeared swollen. i made the BAAAAAAAAAA sound and the animal stopped behind some thin brush.
Only the head and neck were not obscured. i've always avoided neck shots. Distance was about 100 yards and i had a good rest. Took the shot and the animal went down.
