Some of the ads are definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK.

Also, there might be some four letter words in the video.

For those who can't click on it for one reason or another, a few kids shoot at a teddy bear wearing a bullet proof vest (the backdrop is a solid cement wall). I saw an ar15 (which went straight through of course), and a revolver of some sort. Maybe a .357 or similar. At the end, they shoot one of their friends in it with a .22 handgun. Pretty stupid stuff.

One thing that I was definitely suprised about was how big and ugly the bruise was even from a .22lr. I'm pretty sure it broke the skin. I had no idea that a small round like that could still inflict so much damage through a vest.

Haha I got so in to the desciption I forgot to post the link. Thanks for reminding me haha

Oh, great.

Violation of all 4 rules, assault & battery with a deadly weapon, irresponsible gun handing and firearms ownership....

Disgusting.

Captain safety sez:

What a bunch of maroons.

I would put on my best TV MC voice and say:
"Our next nominees for the Drawin Awards are . . . ."
but this aint even funny.

BTW, a .22 Long rifle bullet is supposed to
have the kinetic energy of about a 120 pound
weight dropped from the height of a foot
concentrated on a 0.22" point. Even with a
vest, absorbing 120 foot/piunds has gotta hurt.
If the integrity of the vest had been compromised
in any way, that stunt could have been lethal.

I would say the integrity of the vest was already compromised after being shot up with rifles. That guy was just straight lucky.

Compromised in any way? It was shot multiple times before with many different guns including an ar15 and some sort of bolt action hunting rifle...both of which went through.

That kid is lucky.

Yeah, stupid. But a life experience they survived, learned from (?), and shared with others for their edification.

Obviously the first shots were with "cop killer" bullets.

I was hoping for a Darwin Award candidate.
They are sure working on it, they keep that kind of stupid stuff up somebody is going to get hurt bad, or worse! :uhoh:

It isn't a bullet proof vest like the interceptor or BALCS, it is a flak jacket!

I weep for the future. People like this should be strongly encouraged to function check the suck start feature of their weapons. It is for the good of humanity.

One thing I didn't like was how everyone watching would start walking over to the vest immedietly after the shooter fired his shot. None of them waited for the guy to make the gun safe. None of them seemed to care. I thought I heard some female laughter in the background, I gotta find me some girls that want to go shooting lol.

Yep, looked like a surplus PASGT vest to me. It's not even intended for direct bullet-resistance, fragments only. Granted a PASGT is considered to be "roughly IIa" in NIJ terms, that dosen't cut the mustard.

And standing in front of a concrete wall at 90 degrees perpendicular? :scrutiny:

Another reason that idiots shouldn't have guns!

What a bunch of morons........someday these kids are going to have kids of their own and will further pollute the gene pool. Sad, indeed.......as if there weren't enough reasons to weep for the future of this country. Just wait until the anti-gunners get ahold of this video.........just more ammunition (no pun intended) to use against those of us who believe in RKBA..........Responsible gun owners abhor such stupid behavior. Of course that doesn't matter to the antis............they think we are all nuts like those ass-clowns in the video.

On the plus side, I'm sure all of them there (and especially the test dummy) have a new-found appreciation for the .22 LR cartridge and it's capabilities.
