This is sad at so many levels. But it is gun related because this gang, after stomping a woman to death, broke into another house and used a knife and a fake gun to threaten the family. The guy took away the fake gun and used it to pound on the punks until they left. Real tough guys huh?

Here is the article

This happened in "Jolly Ole England" where having a gun for self defence is prohibited. I wonder how anti's would feel about gun possession if someone dear to them was stomped to death in their own home ...

Stomp

Since the British government and police can't seem to figure it out, they should round up all the little beastie boys and ship'em here to the southern Appalachians so they can see how their little games fly with mountain folk...especially over around Harlan and Pikeville Kentucky. You'd be able to hear'em screamin' for mommy all the way to the top of Clingman's Dome.

:D

Later the gang raided a nearby house and threatened a man's daughter with a knife. They fled when the man grabbed their gun and fought back.

Are they going to charge the man with unlawful possession of a gun because he pulled it away and may have hurt them?
:banghead:

Or any other part of rural America. It would be interesting to see just how tough these jokers are when faced with people who are serious about self defense and have adequate means to protect themselves.

Somehow I doubt that. It's hard to scream with body parts stuffed in your mouth. There's been many a body that's disappeared in Harlan and Pikeville. ;)

That is very sad and not uncommon if you visit the BBC News site regularly. Nothing they can't fix with more CCTV cameras.

Sad to say it is more like that on this side of (the pond) them most think. A decade ago I drove semi to NY city. (favor for high school friend who owns trucking company) Some disadvantaged youths attempted to get into trailer and failed. I talked to some drivers who deliver in the city on a regular basis. One had the youth break into back of his trailer when stopped and he slammed doors closed (reefer) and drive to destination calling on CB for LEO to meet him and arrest youths. He gets there and meets LEOs who inform him that HE is under arrest for IIRC Kidnapping/reckless endangerment/etc and if they are hurt in any way more. Well they open trailer and NOBODY in it. (he was wrong that he caught a couple)
We agreed best option is if done with drops to drive 6hrs and then unload semi froze idiots. (pre cell phone days) Now you know they will call 911 and be tracked down.
