Glock 17 or Browning High Power

Along with the SIG P226 and H&K P7/M8 they are my all time favorite 9mm pistols.

How bout a compromise

Long answer:

Get a P99, then drop a Glock striker spring in! It reduces the felt trigger pull. But don't put a 4 lb spring (Wolf) like I did, use a 5.5 lb.

They do grip reductions/changes on Glocks, but they are pretty ugly.

USP is hard to argue with, but do cost a bit more.

I've only tried the LDA in the stores. Hard to imagine fast doubles, but tell it to Jarret! I'll borrow a fellow shooter's, as I'm beginning the hunt on a .40

Guys I know with Berretta's get the trigger worked on. With pretty good results too.

Short answer: Get over the striker thing, get the p99

not rumor

nemisis,
Everything I had stated is fact. I have worked extensively with Paras as part of their range rental program and had their guns in my case for quite awhile. Why? Because the IPSC guys who cant or dont what to buy an STI buy them. Then they bring them back for large amounts of warranty work and parts replacement.

go with the beretta.

if you don't like the slide mounted safety, get a G model

elites and police trade-in models only have a de-cocker...they don't stay on if you hit them during clearence drills

My glock has Trijicon night sights:

What a great home defense tool. What other gun do I have that I could store like this - if I had to:

;) I don't think about it twice with the Glock.
