I finally was able to shoot my new Para LDA Hi-Cap 9 at an IDPA practice today. I shot half of the practice with my Glock 34 and the other half with my Para. There are minor differences between the two, but they will all be overcome with extended shooting of the Para. It shoots awesome, just different.

My question is in regards to the trigger reset. I know exactly where to "ride" my 34 to, but the LDA is a whole other animal. I found myself doing tap/racks on nearly every run, due to what I thought was a FTF. :cuss: On the drive home, it hit me. I wasn't letting the trigger move far enough forward. There is a slight, but diffinative, catch right before the trigger resets. Is this how a LDA functions? I'm fairly sure that the gun is in fine working condition and this "obstacle" will be overcome with range time, but is this normal?

Thanks for the replies.
