Yes, 3 new guns in 3 weeks :D

I picked up a new PX4 9mm Compact. It still has the rotating barrel, but is smaller than the fullsize. It's about the size of the P2000 I got recently.

I decided that I already have some Beretta 92's and a couple of 1911s for fullsize range guns. I'm always rotating my collection for something new, but rarely do I buy different carry gun. The guns just sit in the safe until I get around to shooting a particular one every few months.

After doing that for so many years, I decided to do something different. Now I have several carry guns - guns I can rotate thru whenever I get the urge. But, they'll see some actual use.

I shot my fullsize PX4 last week a little prior to shooting my HK P2000sk last week. Fell back in love with it. Played with a PX4 compact earlier this week, and decided to get one.

I just got back from the range with it. Shoots very good. I shoot it about equal to the similar size HKP2000 9mm I got 2 weeks ago. The DA pull is a little lighter on the PX4s than on the HKs, though. The new PX4 compact worked 100% with both FMJ and JHP. I also did both two handed and one handed shooting all in DA for every shot, and some shots at the end of the indoor range (15 yards). I am very satisfied with the gun.

So, I got the HK P2000, P2000sk and PX4 compact in the last 3 weeks. The new gun train is done for now... Outta money now :uhoh:

Very nice pair of pairs there! Congrats! :D

The PX4 Compacts shoot really nicely in my experience.

you must have one heck of a stock of rubber grips... the guns only a few hours old...:neener:

Hahaha... I actually bought it with the gun. I usually don't go in for the slip on Hogue grips. I gave it a shot on the fullsize PX4 a couple of weeks ago. Got the Hogue jr grip today - palm swells are less on it. I think I'm gonna go get one and try it on the P2000 tomorrow.

The P2000sk already has finger grooves - I don't know how that would match up with the Hogue jr, so I will probably leave that one alone

Thanks.

I just updated the photo links and they are back. I had exceeded the limit of my photobucket acct, apparently.

Nice additions to the family. Been looking at a lightly used PX4 Compact but can't decide if I really want or need another 9mm.

Thanks.

If you don't already have the fullsize, I think you would like it. Great gun! If I carry it often enough, I may get night sights for it later

Hahaha...

For a guy who has owned over twenty five Beretta 92's over the years - I like the safety. I'm starting to like the feel of the gun over the P2000, I think :p

I like that the mag has as many rounds as a Beretta 92 in this size package too
