Another New Gun(i got to get a grip)

Bought another new gun today, that makes 3 this year all ready, but the deal was so good i could not resist. Springfield has this special going on for a limited time only where you can get an XD 40 or 9mm with 3 high cap magazines and the extreme duty hard holster that is tailor made for the XD. at my gun shop you could get the package with a 40 or 9mm for $420.00, I bought the 9mm because i allready have an XD 40 and the holster works for the 9mm or my 40. Will take it to the range tommrow if its not snowing.

Sounds good ... I am shortly gonna be in same category - hardly into the new year - and #3 is in the pipeline. Heck - gotta stop this!!

i have the compact XD9. i like it. how does the holster work for yah?

Yeah, its gonna be tough to change the grips on that XD... maybe one of those rubber sleeves or something.

So far this year I've purchased a Glock 27, an old Charter Arms undercover 38 and an XD-9 subcompact. Worst of all, I'm STILL looking at guns. Tomorrow I'm might pick up an older S&W if it turns out to be what I think it is. Looks like I need to get a grip too.

Pretty good! I'm only on two for the yr. A HK P9S and another Acusport/Ruger Bisley - this time in .44 magnum. No more until April since the next one - a HK P2000k will require the tri-mester bonus.

My wife and I are in the same boat too! We were all fine and good until we had a MD THR shoot and I got to shoot a Sig P220. I liked it so much and the wife overheard she snuck out to get it for my birthday. Then while I'm at the shop for the Sig I see a Colt Mustang Pocketlite on the shelf! :banghead: Too many nice guns are popping up around me!

Yea all, I know what you mean to many nice guns that keep calling my name.
2T2, I have not used the holster except to try it on, I like the way you are able to adjust it to ride up or down and you can cant it the way you like it best, I think it will work out fine.

I'm still trying to recover from the rifle I bought back in October I've had to stop going to the gun shop because I fiend for new stuff a little less when I'm not surrounded by it.

I'm prepetually doomed. I told myself that I'd have more control this year. Not buy any guns or have any major gun expenses for a while. But . . .

I'm a moderator on the CZ forums' classifieds. So, I've already bought a blued CZ 97B this year and sold my CZ 550 VL in exchange for some cash and a Cav Arms lower. Now that I have an AR lower, I'm in real trouble . . .

...only bought TWO guns - first a KT P-32 and then a Bersa Thunder .380. The weather being so warm down here I'm still shooting and carrying both!

Yah, last year I went ape, this year I'm going to try to be a good boy.
I may even try to rid myself of a couple...
Now as for buying accessories like holsters and mags, I may still be in trouble.

Partly it's because I haven't seen anything I just HAVE to have.
I could be a sucker for a lever, but haven't seen any semi autos or revolvers I'm interested in just yet...well, perhaps one of those strange steyrs....

I look at it as our celebration of another Republican Presidency...my GF bought me an S&W model 66 for Christmas (I picked it out). And to celebrate the Inauguration, I'll buy her a P7 for her B-day(which she picked out). And the year is young...

It's catching, all right. I have been looking at the FM I bought Sat. for quite a while when yesterday, something settled in my head, so I made a beeline and got tyhe thing. Maybe there is something to tinfoil hats.
