I passed through a large shop with at least 4, 8 foot long or more, cases. Two of them filled with Smith revolvers.

There was one single 617 without the lock. Every other Smith revolver in the place had the lock over the cylinder release. I left when I started getting nauseous.

If you don't understand this, ask Mike Irwin to explain it.

Ahhhh Blueblack steel...
It's Beautiful Marshall. Warts and all :D

russlate, dude, take a pepto-bismol tablet for that nausea since I doubt a company that made gun locks for a living and then bought S&W are gonna sing another song soon. You wouldn't explode or anything if Marshall asked you to go shooting his new beauty would you? Sometimes, new is good. Sometimes its not (Can you say Sigma?) There are a lot of old Smiths out there tho' and I tend to look at them a lot longer than the new ones... but that new .45 Colt 25 sure is a looker.
Give us a range report soon Marshall. Did it set ya back much over $600? Or did you buy it from a mad divorcee for $25?

Sure is pretty. Hope no whiskers start to grow out of that wart thing tho' :D
