Another Prayer request.

Update: Not much of one, I guess. They never took him for his test as of 5PM when I left the hospital. Dad is still there hooked up to more tubes and devices that one could think possible. Well, not really that many. He still does not feel really well but the fever had broke but we don't know if that is from the meds or what. By all signs they caught the infection before it could pick up steam.

And that is all I know as of this point.

Mike, we want spring soon. It has been 9 degrees at night with daytime highs of 19 or so. So much for global warming.

Prayers sent for your father - what is his first name - don't really need to know - but I'd like to include it when I pray - if you don't mind.

Blessed are those who pray for their parents and ask them to be lifted up in prayer.

For those who want to know, Dad's name is Harold.

I just talked to Mom, Dad was served his dinner right after I left yesterday and as soon as he got his food, they came in and told him he could not eat because he was going for his tests. He did not get to eat until after 9PM and for a 91 year old diabetic that is not good.

He was told that if he does well on getting around the hospital today, and the infection is gone, he should get to come home tomorrow. So, Mom and my Sister are taking his walker up for him today.

(If you go to "My Photos" using the link in my signature, you will see two of the muzzle loading pistols Dad built.)

Dad is still in the hospital.

I just got off the 'phone with my Mother. We had thought that he had the infection that was causing his high fever beaten and Dad could come home from the hospital. However, his fever is back up there again and he will be having more blood work done and other tests Tuesday. So he will still be in the hospital for a while yet.

Dad and Mom had the flu around New Years and I wonder if this could be still a tag end of it.
