Another Small Town Western Shooting

Before cell phones; Yes, I'd stop, IF I didn't get that gut feeling. Now, no. This winter I lied to four young men in their twenties who asked if I had jumpers as I drove by the intersection (out on the boonies) they were on. (I had rolled the window down, as they had theirs down.) They never saw the .45 I had at the ready next to me, as I never got that close. I figure between four people in their 20's, there ought to be at least one working cell phone. Sounds harsh, but I've never expected anyone to stop when I've been stranded, and when they have, I usually wave them off with a "Help's on the way."
