Another Taurus Millenium Pro PT111 thread: new SA/DA trigger

Hey, y'all,

I haven't posted here in ages, but I just bought the same gun from this post http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=203552, also from a Sportsman's Warehouse store. All 4 of the Millenium Pros I handled today had the new SA / DA trigger from the 24/7 Pro! It feels similar to the HK LEM trigger, with the same short-ish reset (well, short for DA, you know what I mean?). I couldn't believe how light and smooth the trigger was. Also, it comes stock with nice Heinie sights! On a $279 gun!

I hope to get to the range tomorrow to try it out. I almost bought the PT145 they had there as well. If I do really love the PT111, I think that PT145 will join it really soon. They'd make a nice pair.

Hi Liam,
I recently bought a PT-111 Mil. Pro with the SA\DA trigger and Heine sights to use as a CCW. I've only had it a week and I've put 300 rounds (WWB FMJ and JHP) and haven't had a single malfunction. I'm impressed with the gun so far - it's decently accurate and easy to shoot. I was going to buy a Kel-Tec P-11, but after shooting both, I preferred the Taurus. Look forward to hearing about your range results.

yep...i just picked up a 745 and a 111, both in DA/SA. if they would have had a 145 in DA/SA, i would have grabbed it too!

I plan to pick up the first SA/DA 24/7 Compact I see in .40 S&W. I'm not a fan of .40 S&W in general, but I think it has penetration advantages over .45ACP when you get to 3.5" or shorter barrels.
