Actually two. The first one I forgot to link here and that was my Girsan MC P35 (BHP clone) at $378 base price, cost me under $400 out the door.

The second one I just ordered is the Girsan MC 39 (Beretta 92X Centurion clone) for $308 base price.

The Girsan Hi-Power is sold out but the MC 39 is still available.

I have a Springfield marked one. It was more money, no magazine safety nor firing pin safety. Really like it. A buddy has the Girsan marked version, with the straight trigger, poly grips, and ambi safeties. Mine has a better trigger, it was back to the mothership for extraction problems. Oddly, my friend's gun has the rivet for the mag safety, but no safety.
Have a Turk 1911 as well; have a lot of respect for their guns.

This last one completes my wish list and while all of the ones I own are technically Turkish clones I'm happy with them.

To me the four most beautiful "modern" pistols in the whole world are (not necessarily in this order):
1911
Hi-Power
Beretta 92 (series)
CZ75

Of course my personal bias is all four are the best ever made......... Even my clones (I have at least one of each)........ So I am now content with my pistol purchases.

I picked up my SA-35 today... I really wanted the SA because of the upgrades they did to it, and particularly the no magazine cutoff... even if it's more money. Setting right next to it was a shorty Girsan for something silly like $389. I WAS temped, because I like short-barreled autos like that... but in the end, I got the SA. If it shoots like I think it will, I may just have to go back and snag that Girsan... just 'cause.
