Anti-gunner calls Police "heavy-handed" after she is arrested for sawn-off shotgun

PD:

I think it would be absolutely hilarious to watch her fellow anti's in the legal system explain why she's not being handed her head once she's dragged into court....

Or, I suppose, when she's not.... :cuss:

In the UK, capital punishment might be a viable option for crimes like this. Even here in the Wild West, it's a good way to learn all about showers to avoid and grey bar hotels. :what:

We are obligated to obey the law, no matter how unfair or silly, as long as compliance is possible without grave danger to ourselves or others. This isn't even a "rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6" situation where some of us would diverge from the law. It's a bunch of Felonies.... :uhoh:

I suppose, though, that if there really was an amnesty of some kind in force, then perhaps we shouldn't expect her head, but if the facts before us are valid, I would hope some time in the Tower and a nasty legal bill would be in order. :neener:

For all those that find the smallest reason to support the rise of the police state being birthed here take heed...

By their very nature, after a point, the police state comes to respect no one.

One-time-friend and foe are all the same in the land of jack booted thugs....

Still a shame

At first I couldn't figure out why the police hastled her so much, and then I figured it out. She was reporting a burglary and told police at the same time "I have an illegal weapon" which the police no doubt, presumed meant that she might use it against the criminal.

The sad part of this story (other than the state of gun laws in the once free UK), is that she has yet to realize the absurdity of criminalizing inanimate objects which, in and of themselves, possess no capacity for any criminal conduct whatsoever.

Oh well... "homines id quod volunt credunt" - Gaius Julius Caesar

I wonder if she felt that the act of reporting a burglary of a neighbor's home was liable to cause the police to search her own home?

Zundfolge

So her son "Dean" who also went by "Marcus" had a sawed off shotgun in his possession ... and he was shot to death.

Something tells me that "Dean" was a criminal who got himself shot doing criminal business and she wants to blame the gun because otherwise she'd have to face the truth; she raised a criminal

I didn't see anything about Dean/Marcus possessing the gun.

Iapetus:

Dean/Marcus was the lady's son. He was a "victim" of "gun violence" some time prior, which led her into the anti movement.

He was, apparently, a criminal, but that has little bearing on the instant case, although, as another poster indicated, a good reason she's an anti. After all, if some LAC could kill her son while defending himself, that might be bad.... :fire:

Blame the object.... :banghead:

Where does it say Dean/Marcus was a criminal?

(Sorry if I'm being blind, I just couldn't see it in the article).

Nope ... appears I misread the article ... the shottie belonged to some gang member she's refusing to identify.

I still bet her son was a criminal (if not a member of the same gang) ... this is a common situation for gun control "activists" ... their "little angel" dies from a GSW and they blame the gun instead of the fact that their "little angel" is a thug.

Although to be fair, the article doesn't give enough information to make the charge.

EDIT: looks like he was a thug source
First to die was father-of-three Dean Eccleston, 24, who only moved to Manchester from Bristol in 1990 to escape bad company there who had led him into crime.
