I really enjoy the 4006TSW, and in IMHO the TSW pistols seem to be a bit tighter and better overall quality than the "regular" 3rd Gens.
But for the longest time I was looking specifically for a 4506-1 or a 4566TSW which are the ones that initially piqued my interest. I asked the guys at the shop to look out for one, and if they get one in trade, text me.
So I waltzed into the LGS the other day and the guy says, "Perfect timing! We have something to show you..." They had just received a 4506-1 in trade, and had it in the back office. I couldn't believe it.
It has a couple small marks, probably from handling over the years, but overall it looks barely used. Slide-to-frame fit is a little loose at the muzzle end, but lockup is rock solid. I may not find a better example for the price, so I decided to fill out the adoption paperwork.
All I need now are a 5906 and 1006. Yeah, I got it bad.
