Didn't mean to frighten you or discourage you from trying to do this yourself. It's not at all difficult, just needs to be done carefully and properly.
If you don't wan't to pay a gunsmith (although supporting your local gunsmith is a worthy cause...), then ask around amongst your shooting buddies or at the local range.
With a little sense of who seems to know their stuff, or is well spoken of, you might find someone who might reliably do this for pizza money and give you a chance to watch and learn.

Before long, you'll be turning perfectly servicable weapons into "projects", and have a dealer account at Brownell's...
Then again, if you like the sight picture the way it is, then leave well enough alone and ignore all of the above
