Any Atlanta Area Folks Here?

I am looking for folks in the Atlanta area, especially the south side of Atlanta. I am going to be living in Fayetteville and am looking for someone to get together with to shoot.

I shoot at Autrey's Armory now, but don't really know anyone in that area to shoot with. I love to shoot, but it is more fun when there is someone else at the range that you know.

If you haven't been to Autrey's, it is a nice place. Plenty of knowledgable folks there and an indoor range.

Hey

I am in the South Newnan area. I usually shoot at the west point public range. It's really a nice place but with gas as high as it is I might start shooting at lock stock and barrel in Grantville. The range fee is probably cheaper than gas.

Fayetteville is a pretty good trip for shooting but I would be willing to try it out once or twice. Or, I could send you a map to west point.

Autrey's is the only range that I have ever used. I am in LA, Lower Alabama and there are no ranges here. But there are lots of hunting land and such. I have a couple of buddies with places in the country as well as the hunting land that I shoot at.

Thanks to all who have responded so far. I will be there in a couple of weeks. My wife has been trying to find a job here in the Montgomery area, but hasn't had any luck. We were married in Nov. and all she has found is a temp position and that ended last week. She is now looking back in Georgia.

I still have two of my grown kids here and my dad, so I will be going back and forth alot. But, as I am disabled, I won't have to worry about missing work or anything. She still has family there so things will be better for her to work there.

Anyway, I have loved guns all my life and was very please to find Autrey's there in Fayetteville. I am from a very small town, which I prefer, but there are no ranges around here. I think that there may be one in Montgomery and other places in Alabama, but not any really close to me.

My wife and I recently relocated to the Atlanta area from Montgomery. We hated it there, every minute of it.

I'm north of town, in Cherokee County. I usually shoot at Ed's Guns in Marietta or Pannell's in Woodstock.

Powder Springs here. I do most of my shooting out at the South River Gun Club near Carrollton.

The South Atlanta Practical Shooters hold a match every Tuesday night at Autrey's. Good matches, great people. They are run by Bill and Cindy Noyes, two of the nicest people you'd ever meet. Tell them Scott (the tax professor) said "Hi."

I live in Newnan (south of Atlanta) and I work up in Duluth.

I think maybe we should figure out all the local gun guys so we could have a mini-gun show & trade session a once or twice a year. Plus we can all go shooting together.
