So two questions for you all if any of you use decoys dogs maybe you can tell me are they worth anything if you just fur hunt in the winter most of the stuff I have seen says no but I have found a few that say yes and it makes me wonder also since I am in k.y and most of the land we hunt has a lot of cover would they be any good because every time I see it being done it out west in the open country
And lastly wanted to see what you all would think about this idea I had I was talking to a guy I met that was from the UK and he told me over there they hunt for deer with what they call stocking dogs which are most gun dogs that are used to find deer in heavy cover they do it by working a area that deer are known to be in but stay in sight of the hunter and led him to were they are at and when they find it they don't brack but just set and pont to were it is now I am wondering could you work a coyote in heavy cover like that from what little bit I know coyote bed up in the day time would you think it could be done or would a coyote be gone before the dog got anywhere near it
