Looking at a trip from Knoxville TN to Ocala FL.. Any one care to recommend some great gun shops
down 40 from Knoxville Tn to Chattanooga then on 75 to Ocala FL..

I like Older guns over Newer guns and Surplus guns best of all... But anything cool is always tops the the list.

Take the Windy Hill exit off I-75. It is just before you get to the I-285 exit. You drive a few blocks on Windy Hill then turn left on South Cobb Pkw. Store is about 200 yards on the right. They have a little of everything and a great place to stock up on ammo. They will have dozens of pallets on the floor with common ammo. Lots of less common ammo too.

There is also a Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga. This is one of only a handful east of the Mississippi. If you've never been in one it is worth a look I like them better than Cabelas of BPS. It is only about mile off of I-75. Easy in and out.

Of course you'll also go past a BPS and 2 Cabelas between Chattanooga and Atlanta.

There’s...
- Classic Firearms, 3780 Northside Dr, Macon, GA
- Chuck’s Gun and Pawn, 603 Watson Blvd, Warner Robbins, GA
- Clyde Armory, 4025 Watson Blvd, Warner Robbins, GA
- Broome Firearms, 708 South Grant St, Fitzgerald, GA

That should get you through central Georgia...

Ocala has a few gun shops and a few pawn shops. Gander Outdoors (one of their nicer ones) is Hwy 40 Exit, #352, Jerry's Pawn and Gun, Ocala Armory has more mil-surp type stuff. You can Google ,Map those last two

Before you get to Ocala in/near Gainesville is a BASS Pro right next to I-75, as well as Harry Beckworth near Micanopy on US 441 (close to I-75)

R&D Tactical Solutions sells some guns, but their main thing is an indoor pistol range

I went to Howards Pawn the other day in Macon. I thought it was pretty good. Lots of pre owned stuff and tons of ammo. Fair prices.

I’ll have to get to those ones next time I’m out that way.

Also look at Farnsworth's in Vonore. 504 Church St, Vonore, TN 37885

SIA guns at 9610 Countryside Center Ln, Knoxville, TN 37931

Wow Adventures Outdoors was one of the most unreal experiences I have had off the range and out of the bedroom... Just wow.. About the size of a Target store, it is full of guns and ammo. AND I MEAN ALOT OF GUNS..
1000s. They had big warehouse size shelving packed with ammo..

The people there were very nice.. I think the only down side was the rifles & prices were so far away from the counter you had to ask to see each one you were interested in to really read the the price.. Deep down that is such a pain because perhaps if I could have seen the price before hand, I might never have asked to see the rifle.. But the clerks were more then nice about it... A store that I wish I had more time in..

Many thanks for Those locations..

Ocala Armory was really right up my alley.. It was one of the most diverse selection of Firearms. For the size of the shop, it was amazing how many different firearms they had in the place. Also a nice extra, Surplus magazines and ammo. A real nice place to take your time and look.

Now you did not say that Jerry's Pawn was a complex :) I 1st walked into the Archery and Surplus building.. Which was pretty grand.. But only a couple guns.. Then I looked across the street at the other building.. They did have a large selection of rifles and pistols in there.. Mostly modern arms but a friendly place..
