Went to the Portland Or gunshow and had a great time. Not much of a crowd but still it was a great show to look around in. Saw a nice 940 Smith 9mm revolver for $550 but didn't buy it. Was looking for just a plinker 357. Haven't bought anything yet.

762x39 was $205 a thousand. Not many people filling out the paperwork as I was walking through but saw alot of ammo going out the door. Seems like all them guys taking out the ammo had big smiles on their faces:D:D

Anybody else do any good

Obamas Idiot quote of the day

'My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of
the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it.'
- Barack Obama

Always source your quotes before you look like the fool:neener:

I don't think you will find your Churchill quote anywhere either.

Misinformation and factual errors are the weapons of those opposed to our 2nd amendment rights, we must be diligent in our pursuit of the truth.

Sadly this is typical GOP propaganda. How anyone can trust a party that continually sends out blatant lies is beyond me. Did you hear that John Kerry is going to ban the Bible if elected? Remember that one?

Here's a list of some gun shows coming up.
I'm going to try to go to the one in Charlotte next Saturday.

Glowin, there's one in CT. in late October.Durham is near you,I believe.

Oct 25-26 CT Durham, Fairgrounds, Westchester Collectors, Inc 914-248-1000 and on

Nov 15-16 Windsor Locks Beverly Hills Suites Hotel Westchester Collectors, Inc 914-248-1000

Benchmade Balisong for about $15 as I recall, some old Schrade pocket knives w/ carbon steel blades for cheap, a Glock tactical knife for $25, and a USMC Commemorative KaBar for $25 --

Last show I passed up a Camillus Marine "KaBar" -- military issued -- for $40 asking price. Could have bartered it down, but didn't and now wishing I had.

But I got a deal on a Ruger No. 1 'Tropical' in .458 Win. Mag.

At a pawn shop a month ago I found a handmade chrome moly alloy fixed blade, brass hilt, rosewood grip in a wet molded leather sheath. "No Name" -- and $9.99. I know my knives and it's worth about $50 - $75.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Just Jim, if you recall, last June I asked you about the source of that BHO quote. Just speaking personally as a friend of the Second Amendment, and by no means politically, I for one would like to see it either documented or deleted.

I can not speak on the Churchill quote since I have not researched it.

230RN said that.

I scored an average condition S&W 422, pistol only, for about $50 more than I should have paid. Yay me:rolleyes:

Several years ago I got a used but in good condition Ruger 10/22 for $110.00 at the Philadelphia Armory show. Not a screamin' deal, but not bad, IMHO.
