Any help with scope, mounts on a 94AE

Need some recomendations for a scope and scope mount for a 94 AE. I know I want see-through mounts but which ones have you had the best luck with. I also would like any and all suggestions for a low cost scope. I do not hunt so it will be for the shooting range only. Just don't have the experience with a scope and don't know where to begin.

I'm knew to the levers but cought leveritis in a bad way. Purchased a 30-30, .357, and .44. The 30-30 is a Canadian Centenial with octagon brl. My father used to work at a foundry that made the barrels for them. The .357 I bought to shoot. It's a trapper and jst fits me very well. Same goes for the .44

I'm sure that most manufacturers make bases for the 94AE, but for your purposes, see-thru mounts don't seem to make sense. When using iron sights with the see-thru, you field of view is limited by the tunnel of the rings. And when using the scope, the scope is too high and requires lifting your cheek from the stock.

Use Weaver type mounts and just take the scope off if you want to use iron sights.
