I saw on the local news tonight that the 2005 Maryland General Assembly had its last day for passing laws until next year.
The news anchor mentioned a few non-gun related laws but I never heard of what happened to the new AWB law the Democrats wanted. The criteria used in 2005 for determining what constitutes an "assault weapon" is WAY TOO BROAD by definition. It will end up causing weapons not normally thought of or associated with AW's to be just that.(Any hunters reading this?)
Check out HB948 and SB116 located at: www.mcrkba.org/GunBills.html
