I'm curious about the Bodyguard .380, but it doesn't seem like anyone has any information about this pistol. My major concern is the laser. What happens if the laser goes bad? Can it be covered by warranty? Can it easily and cheaply be replaced? My other concerns are size, accuracy, reliability, and durability. I want this to be a carry gun for the summer. Basically, I'd like to be comfortable and confident carrying it concealed beneath a t-shirt and shorts. My Glock 30SF is still a little too big to fit this need. Please let me know anything you know about the Bodyguard. Pictures are also encourage, especially those relating to how the laser works. Thanks.

There are several threads on the BG380 here, a few of them started by you.

Not sure what info you're gonna get that hasn't already been covered.

Do not waste my time and post things unless they pertain and directly address the concerns. I know what other threads are out there.

You seem to have an endless amount of time to re-ask the same questions over and over, what's the difference if i waste your time, or you do? :)

When my questions are not answered the first time, I will ask them again in the hopes that other people will see them. That is the first and last time I will explain myself and my actions to you.

Being persistent in learning is good... but, how many threads do you need to initiate to ask the same questions repeatedly? Google is your friend, S&W seems to be a good source for this gun's information... ya think?

Aint my bandwidth.

In any case, i think the laser switch on the BG 380 is foolish, and i have already read a lot of people who agree about that on various forums.

I have also read bad things about the BG 380's trigger pull, which some have described as "atrocious."

To me, an LCP with crimson trace is a far superior setup. Instinctive laser that wont get left off or missed in a time of extreme stress, and a much nicer trigger pull being the 2 reasons i feel that way.

I do really like the idea of full sized sights and a manual safety as offered on the BG380 though. If only they sold them without the integrated laser, i might consider one, and just get a trigger job done.

Thank you. Now we're getting somewhere. Haha. And yes, I have googled things and checked on youtube. I guess I am looking more for more in depth stuff. Particulars about the laser. Pictures of the gun from all angles. Pictures comparing the gun to other more familiar weapons, etc. Please keep the posts coming.

If you have the choice, always opt for the instinctive pressure operated lasers over any system with a manual switch that must be engaged.

In handling one I found the laser activation button to be a complete turn-off. Also, I'm not sure what is up with the strobe setting. I'd be more tempted to buy the gun if it came without the laser. I didn't try the trigger as I was in a hurry and wasn't seriously considering buying it. As long as it has the laser I never will.
