Hello, I'm new here. Looking for fellow shooters who live in southern Washington or Oregon.

I shoot at least twice a week (rifles on weekend and pistols during the week at indoor range), sometimes more. I do my own reloading to make the habit affordable.

I'm heavy into military weaponry and collect C&Rs. Here's one of my C&R babies - the shiny FR8.

In fact, waaaay South.

Thanks Mods for moving this thread.

Just connecting with established shooting buds and hoping to meet new ones.

Can't have enough shootin buddies

Carlos,

Some of us SW Washington/Oregon shooters are going to be at the Firearms Academy of Seattle on Mar 2nd. Here's the thread that discusses it. Oregon THR / FAS shoot If you can make it, I highly recommend it. Marty puts on a good shoot. It'll make you think and you will come away from it better prepared for some self defence scenarios.

Hope to see you there.

Cheers!

Might make the March 2 shoot. Sounds like fun.

I'll check out the link.

RobertInOregon, you'll have to come shooting with me and the "dump" boys sometime.

... working on a small army it seems.

:)

Zip, Tyris and I will be at the Dump on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. He's bringing his new CETME and I'm going with my new AK-47. :)

See you there. I just hope the damned wind dies down a bit. It's cold and blustery here at Evil Homebase right now. ;)

You got another Oregon shooter here.....I live in Beaverton.

You guys ever make it out this way?

Also, know any good places to shoot, that don't cost an arm and a leg?

I.G.B.

I'm in the Porltand area. Where is the "Dump"? I'm going to go shooting tomorrow around noon at the spot on the way to Cannon Beach. You know, the one place 43 miles out on the left side of the highway right after the Welcome to Tillamook Forest sign.

I'm also in Beaverton. There'll be a few of us from PSTC in Clackamas going up to FAS in March, weather permitting and where, as a group, we've done fairly well.

I think a few of our informal Dump Gang will go north in March to play.

Hey, four more shooting buddies! The "Dump" is exactly 12 miles past Estacada. It's an old quarry on the left hand side of the road, 2 miles past Memaloose Bridge. It's 80 yards of hillside to shoot at. We usually bring clays and whatever else turns us on.

Come on up and shoot with us sometime. Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., and it's a beautiful drive up the Clackamas River.

Hey guys,

I used to live in a small town called St. Helens Oregon.

All my guns are there in storage, so when I get a chance to come back to the states, we will have to all get together somewhere and have a range session.

It will be about a year or so, but would be a great time.

You would be welcome any time.

Well, I'm off to buy a new AK. (can't believe I was tossing and turning in my sleep last night "counting AKs" instead of "sheep." I'm an addict. Pathetic). :)

SASS,

Heck I think ol' Scab town has St. Helens beat size wise nowdays. I was there just under a year ago, and was surprised to see how big that lil' town has grown. Heck they got a Fred Meyers now...
