Any other runners: what do you carry?

I'm cycling more then running these days. For both I use Hill People Gear runner's kit bag. I've been able to fit different mid-size 9mm pistols in there (I usually carry a P365XL) but you could also carry something smaller to save weight. I prefer this method over some type of holster on my hip flapping around or something in my pocket.

Before they kicked us out of the home office to all work at home I used to carry a Keltec P32 every day at work. There was no official firearms policy but it wasn't worth flashing and causing the discussion to be brought up. For me the P32 was an easy shooter and mine was 100% reliable from day 1. I do a pre-break in on all my new guns, especially the smaller ones. I clean a new gun dry then rack the slide several hundred times before stripping it, cleaning it, oiling it and taking it out for the first time. All of my little pocket pistols that are supposed to require a break in period of so many rounds have been reliable since round 1 after a pre-break in.

I have a belly band holster. It is fine with a P32 or LCP while doing physical activity where pocket carry isn't practical. It is not my favorite carry format though. Not the most comfortable either. With my pocket guns being either plastic or stainless steel I have never had an issue with perspiration like I would with a blued gun. I just wipe them off when I get home and keep them properly oiled.

My NAA mini 22wmr is very light when loaded. It comes along some times when I am only wearing athletic shorts and a T shirt.

If you can run in neoprene shorts and can find the right ones, the tight pockets are enough to keep a micro 380 from moving around and you can wear normal lightweight shorts on top. Some pockets even zip closed if needed. Might work for a P365 but that may be pushing it. It's not ideal in terms of comfort but may be a cooler option than a pack.

Let us know once you figure out what works for you.

Hill People Gear stuff looks to be absolutely top-shelf quality from the pictures.
Has anyone had good success removing their sadly unattractive fabric labels?
They need to be way, way more subdued to not attract questions / attention.

Shh!

Don't sully our narrative, this might get your post deleted

Our culture revolves around saving your family, friends, and loved ones with the thousand - dollar pistol making that decisive 50 yard shot, not the $10 monthly gym membership saving you from cardiovascular disease and associated health - associated morbidities slowly bleeding away your family's resources:rofl:

I am not a long distance runner 5 miles is about all I have patience for. I carry a 4" cold steel in the left pocket of my running shorts and a Smith 642 in a Desantis pocket holster around 4 oclock. I tie the shorts very snug and then slide the revolver in place. I live in the country and the neighbors dogs are more of a threat than 2 legged vermin. I haven't tried chest rigs while running but I doubt I would like them it sounds like a sweat/chafing pita.
