Any outdoor ranges for "non-members"?

Does anyone know of some outdoor shooting ranges (like state forest, etc.) in Eastern NC? I'm looking for a non-club type setting with a pistol area and maybe a 100+ yd. rifle area.

Does anyone use the Wake County range (isn't that where the police train?)
