Does anyone have any first hand experience with a Taurus slim 709? At 6 inches in length and 1 inch wide, it could conceivably be the pocket pistol im looking for. Kahr is too expensive. Im just interested if the 19oz weight will ride well in a jean pocket.
I have scoured youtube and there are scant few videos on this weapon. The few that are out there are all pretty much the same tabletop review.
Academy just put them on sale, and if it is a reasonable SD pistol, I will prob go ahead and get it instead of the LCP. That said, I would also want to put the crimson trace on it, and dont know what kind of holsters would be the best.
I think i might go ahead and just trade the weight and ease of carry with the LCP for the slim 709. All opinions welcome. I have zero knowledge of this weapon. Range reports, reliability, carryability, ergos?
