Does anyone have a threaded barrel and/or sound suppressor for their Glock? In particular, I am thinking about getting either a Glock 21SF, Glock30SF, or Glock 36 and adding a threaded barrel and sound suppressor to it. Does anyone have any experience with this? What are the best sound suppressors (I am more interested in ability to silence than weight)? Also, what are the best threaded barrels? Suggestions? How quiet will I be able to get these .45's? Also, if you have any pics, please share. Thanks.

Lone Wolf is a good source for the barrel . For pistol suppressor's , I like Gemtech . Both for the product and the way the company does business . You'll hear the bullet impact the target .

I have a g22 with lonewolf extended barrel coupled with a Gemtech Blackside. Comes in 45 as well. In 40, pretty quiet. Eqivalent to dropping big phone book on floor from 5 ft up. Only downside, is sights are blocked by the suppressor.

I have been thinking about getting a supressor for a .45, I have a G21, G30, and two 1911's.

Are there any aftermarket sight that are tall enough to go over the suppressor? Do they make high night sights?

I have an AAC Evolution-9 that I use on a Glock 17, Glock 34, and Glock 26.
I have a Barsto barrel for the 34 and Lone Wolf barrels for the other two.

I have tall sights on the 34 that I bought from AAC. You can't see the sights on the other two, so I really never use the suppressor with them. I also have a threaded barrel for my Browning Hi-Powers but that is the same story: you can't see the sights with the suppressor.

FWIW: the Glock 34 is registered as an SBR

Just line up the sights and you can kinda picture what's behind the suppressor.
Not as nice as shooting with out one but it will work.

Also I wonder how one of those slide mounted red dot sights would work? :)
